2005 SAREX's
Zone 4 (Thompson) Evaluation
Zone 2 was asked to
participate with Zone 4's Evaluation in providing aircraft support. Captain Rod
Lanning of 435 Squadron evaluated while SARTEC Dave Cooper illuminated survival
techniques to the the ground target participants over the frigid landscape.
With superb
Northern hospitality by Search Coordinator Larry Hall and Perry Oxford and their
team, a visit underground 3,900' is commonly routine under
Zone Commander Pat Leahy's (INCO Mine Safety Officer) guidance.
